Today is all about WELLNESS! Wellness isn’t just about healthy eating. It is a state of health in both body and mind. Wellness comes from practices like preventing disease, proper nutrition, and physical activity. Let's take some time to be well! We can try to show some gratitude!! We can get active and maybe even help our environment too!

- Get cooking! Pick one of the recipes from the Cooking with Kids site.
- Check out these great brain break ideas!
- Let's get busy and work up a sweat!!
- Do you have a green thumb? Divide and repot healthy plants, and then gift them to your neighbors.
- Put out a dish of stale bread, cereal or crackers for the birds to munch on.
- Pick up garbage next time you take a walk (use a grabber or other tool).
- Get moving! Make up a dance routine to your favorite song!
- Design and make an obstacle course at home or in your yard. How fast can you complete it?
- Visit one of the Metro Parks. They have free admission Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
- Listen to a chapter and then head outside to see if you can find any signs of spring!!
- Go on a family bike ride or walk.
- Workout! Find your favorite type of exercise online and do a workout in your home.
